Bicester scheme to get underway

Bowmer & Kirkland will start demolition work next week on the £70m shopping centre redevelopment in Bicester.

The scheme will include a Sainsbury’s supermarket, shops, cinema, multi-storey car park and bus interchange.

Planning permission for the redevelopment was granted in 2009.

Construction work is expected to begin in the spring with completion scheduled by the summer next year.
